To address the environmental impact of maritime operations, the International Maritime Organization has established an ambitious strategy targeting a 50% reduction in GHG emissions from shipping by 2050, measured against 2008 baseline levels.

National Energy Transportation has been an active participant in the shipping industry since 2003. Following structures commonly employed throughout the maritime sector, vessels managed by AXMARINE are owned or chartered by separate corporate entities. Our subsidiary, AXMARINE Management, comprises experienced maritime executives who support the company in implementing strategic decisions. This management entity oversees commercial operations for National Energy Transportation's vessel-owning subsidiaries, including chartering and insurance activities.

Each vessel under our management is registered under the flags of the Bahamas, Liberia, Cyprus, or Panama. Our business model delivers a crucial competitive advantage over existing competitors while providing shareholders with attractive returns and growth potential.

AXMARINE employs a strategy of extensive outsourcing. Multiple independent ship management companies provide vessel management, crewing, and accounting services. Under management agreements, each independent provider handles operations, vessel maintenance, crewing, technical support, shipyard supervision, and related services. Our primary strategy involves benchmarking operational performance and cost levels across our ship management partners.

Independent ship managers provide crewing for our managed vessels. Currently, most vessels operate with full Ukrainian crews, while others employ full Indian or Filipino crews, or combinations of these nationalities. Accounting services for each vessel-owning company are provided by AXMARINE's management team.
