Chartering Services
Maritime Chartering Excellence
Dry Cargo Chartering
Dry cargo chartering represents a complex art, whether chartering through in-house brokers or external charter networks. It is a vast market handling more than three billion tons of cargo annually. AXMARINE has built an extensive network over the years, establishing strong relationships with key industry players worldwide.
The dry cargo market engages various vessel types and covers all major global trade routes. Three significant sectors dominate: iron ore and steel products, coal utilized in steel plants and power stations, and food resources. Additionally, the market is well-diversified, transporting more than 37 different commodities including cement, fertilizer, timber, and scrap metal.
Maritime shipping powers the global economy, transporting raw materials and finished goods to homes, plants, and factories worldwide. Approximately 85% of global trade is carried by vessels, equivalent to more than a tonne of cargo for every individual on the planet each year.
Petroleum Products
Petroleum products power our vehicles, aircraft, and homes, run our factories, and form the basis for plastics used in consumer and industrial products. AXMARINE's chartering services cover all three major deep-sea markets: crude oil, clean petroleum products, and dirty petroleum products.
We facilitate and source between oil companies, traders, and vessel owners, negotiating for cargoes to be transported between producers and refiners. Tanker sizes range from small LR1/LR2 vessels to VLCCs and specialized vessels for petroleum products including naphtha, jet fuel, gasoline, gasoil, and fuel oil.
LNG Transportation
Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) represents a rapidly expanding and highly specialized sector. AXMARINE has maintained a dedicated LNG chartering desk for nearly a decade, closely following market trends and developments. This trade involves natural gas refrigerated to its liquid state for transportation and storage.
Demand for this clean fossil fuel is exceptionally high, serving as an alternative sustainable fuel until zero carbon targets are achieved by 2050. Demand is projected to rise as LNG plays an increasingly significant role in the energy mix of developed nations and energy-hungry emerging markets.
